synopsis imagine – millions of screens spread out – the same running program ... it´s about brainwash and its visualisation simultaneously.
generation of the video materia The very fast moving winding shapes of a video feedback are played on a screen monitored by a videocam and recorded by a videorecorder simultaneously. Zooming step by step in a larger scale, successively the video recorder starts to produce disturbances (rectangular and triangular shapes) caused by the enormous rapid change between black and white. Continuing this process the picture errors also become more and more larger causing new ones at the same time until the winding shapes of the origin videofeedback disappear being replaced by the angular ones. The picture content has been changed radically. Take care it's everywhere.
video installation minimum 2 monitores up to 1 million monitores spread out in space or integrated into the respective space situation. The video loop (11:30 min) is played in the separate monitors asynchronously without sound. Only the o-tone of the respective surrounding area can be heard.

Inhalt eine Vorstellung - Millionen von Bildschirmen verteilt - überall läuft das selbe Programm ... Es geht um Gehirnwäsche und gleichzeitig um die Visualisierung dieses Prozesses.
Generierung des Videomaterials Die sich sehr rasch bewegenden kurvigen Formen eines Videofeedback werden von eiem Monitor mittels einer Videokamera abgefilmt und gleichzeitig von einem Videorekorder aufgenommen. Schritt für Schritt wird ein Bildausschnitt vergrößert, um erneut in einer größeren Zoomstufe abgefilmt zu werden. Ab einem bestimmten Punkt dieses Prozesses beginnt der Videorekorder Störungen zu produzieren (rechteckige und dreieckige Formen), verursacht durch den raschen Wechsel von Schwarz und Weiß. Den Prozess weiterführend, werden auch die Bildstörungen vergrößert, die ihrerseits neue hervorrufen. Sie werden immer mehr und mehr, bis das ursprüngliche Videofeedback verschwindet. Der Bildinhalt hat sich radikal verändert. Gib Acht, es ist überall.
Videoinstallation Minimum sind 2 Monitore, erweiterbar bis zu Millionen von Monitoren verteilt im Raum bzw. integriert in der entsprechenden Raumsituation. Der Videoloop (11:30 min) wird in den jeweiligen Monitoren asynchron abgespielt und das ohne Sound. Nur der O-Ton der entsprechenden Umtgebung ist zu hören.
