On
the occasion of the permanent installation of the Sunpendulum Time-Eye
of Hawaii at the Maui High Performance Computing Center (MHPCC) and in
view of the great interest shown by MHPCC scientists in the Sunpendulum
project, an in-house presentation and a scientific lecture on the Sunpendulum
software were organized. To provide comprehensive information on the Sunpendulum
project, the Sunpendulum video (by Barbara Doser and Hofstetter Kurt) accompanied
by Sunpendulum art folders were presented in English.
In
the following discussion fascination with the synergy of cooperative projects
between art and science was one of the main topics.
Many thanks to Margret Lewis (Associate Director, Marketing & Outreach - MHPCC) and Candace Shirley (Marketing Account Manager - MHPCC) for the perfect presentation management. |
