  On the occasion of the permanent installation of the Time-Eye of Ensenada at the University of Baja California in Ense-nada, the University organized a press conference. To provide comprehensive information on the Sunpendulum project, the Sunpendulum video (by Barbara Doser/Hofstetter Kurt) accompanied by Sunpendulum art folders were presented in Spanish. In addition, Dr. Christoph Traxler gave an overview of the current research status of the Sunpendulum software.

As a sign of appreciation of the Sunpendulum project by the University of Baja California, the Rector travelled about 300 km from the University’s head office in Mexikali to participate personally in the press conference. Moreover, the official representation of Austria, i.e. the participation of the Austrian Honorary Consul of Baja California and the representative of the Austrian National Tourist Office in Mexico City, underlined the importance of the project.
The press conference took 1.5 hours and was held in Spanish and English. Simultaneous interpretation was provided.Thanks to the University of Baja California / Ensenada for the perfect organization.

  The Time-Eye of Ensenada is a media art installation by Hofstetter Kurt realized in close cooperation with the Institute of Computer Graphics / Vienna University of Technology and the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California / Ensenada.
