 synopsis a crossover point as a source of pulsating lights where messages meet together from and for Sarajevo. A video as a memory of the telematic live radio event "CHANGING MESSAGES PARALLEL CROSSOVER" on March 16th, 1995, where musicians in Sarajevo (Miroslav Maraus, Igor Camo at the RTV BiH broadcast studio) and musicians in Innsbruck (Norbert Math, Hofstetter Kurt at the ORF Tirol broadcast studio) played together in a concert via satellite link and telephone lines. Thereby acoustic messages for Sarajevo, produced by artists from around the world, and messages for the world, produced by artists from Sarajevo, were used as sound materials. |
Inhalt ein Kreuzungspunkt als Quelle pulsierenden Lichts, an dem sich Messages von und für Sarajevo begegnen. Ein Video, das in Erinnerung an das telematische Live-Radio-Event „CHANGING MESSAGES PARALLEL CROSSOVER“ vom 16.03.1995 entstanden ist. Musiker in Sarajevo (Miroslav Maraus, Igor Camo im Studio RTV BiH) waren mit Musikern in Innsbruck (Norbert Math, Hofstetter Kurt im Sendesaal ORFTirol) über eine Satellitenverbindung und Telefonleitungen miteinander verbunden und spielten in einem Konzert zusammen. Dabei wurden akustische Messages für Sarajevo, produziert von Künstlern aus aller Welt, und Messages für die Welt, produziert von Künstlern aus Sarajevo, als Klangmaterialien verwendet. |

| video-infrared-sound-installation The concert could be experienced visually and acoustically live in a video-infrared-sound-installation at the ORF Tirol broadcast studio. Three infrared transmitters divided the space acoustically into three areas. In the right area the broadcast signal from RTV-Sarajevo was received over infrared headphone sets, on the left the signal from ORF-Innsbruck and in the middle area both signals, from Sarajevo and Innsbruck, were overlapped and transmitted to be heard simultaneousl. Corresponding with both acoustic broadcast signals from Sarajevo and Innsbruck, two video projections on the ground, produced by Barbara Doser, showed pulsating light structures overlapping in the middle area and merging into one another again and again. Crossing the sound and light areas, people were enveloped by the light structures, as within an aquarium. |
Video-Infrarot-Sound-Installation Das Konzert war unter anderem in einer Video-Infrarot-Sound-Installation im großen Sendesaal des ORF Landesstudio Tirol live visuell und akustisch miterlebbar. Drei Infrarot-Sendequellen unterteilten den Raum akustisch in drei Raumzonen. In der rechten Raumzone war über Infrarot-Kopfhörer das Sendesignal aus Sarajevo zu empfangen, links das Signal aus Innsbruck und in der mittleren Raumzone waren beide Signale gleichzeitig – also das Zusammenspiel der Musiker aus Sarajevo und Innsbruck – zu hören. Entsprechend der beiden akustischen Sendequellen Sarajevo und Innsbruck, zeigten zwei von der Decke auf den Boden projizierte Videoflächen von Barbara Doser pulsierende Lichtstrukturen, die sich in der mittleren Raumzone überlappten und immer wieder ineinanderflossen. Sie umhüllten die Menschen, die sich wie in einem Aquarium durch die verschiedenen Klang- und Lichtzonen bewegten. |
