"In Tokyo and Angra Do Heroismo/Terceira/Azores, appr. 12 hours apart, video cameras have been directed towards the sky and connected online to the Internet. The images from both cameras were constantly sent to a screen, where a central circular field of one sky is superimposed on the other. Two moons circulate around that fields and their position shows the local time. The realisation is based on the collaboration with Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) - Tokyo and University of Azores - Angra using the respective Sunpendulum Time-Eyes as well as the www-client software by Herbert Schwabl and support by the Sunpendulum Kernel team. " (Hofstetter Kurt, 2005).

Installation: - the C light pendulum [ tokyo ||| azores ] - screen has been installed for permanent use at the Future Design Institute / KIT - Tokyo. It replaces the institute's clockwork and gives a prominent sign to embed living media art in every day's usage.
